Emily Wade – Chiropractor

Hi, I’m Emily!

I’m from Teeside and I first discovered chiropractic care after I shadowed the team at Stockton when I was at college. I had been to see my fair share of healthcare professionals when I was younger, and one of the team at SCC offered to help with my neck pain which I had been suffering since being in a car accident. After seeing the results from this I decided that Chiropractic was the right career for me, and went on to study it at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic.

I am now a proud member of the British Chiropractic Association as well as the Royal College of Chiropractic.

In the clinic I use a variety of treatment modalities to best suit each individual in order to provide a personalised care plan. This can involve manipulation, trigger point therapy, active release, massage, and activator technique. I also ensure to include rehabilitation and lifestyle advice to help your recovery.

I have always had a keen interest in sport after being a competitive swimmer and runner when I was younger, and now in my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and doing weight training. As well as this I enjoy going on hikes with friends and spending time outdoors.

I look forward to meeting you all and getting the opportunity to work with you!
