World Spine Day Event

Chiropractor Anna Papadopoulou reports on the event Stockton Chiropractic Clinic held on World Spine Day.

The theme of this year’s day was “Straighten Up and Move” designed to emphasize the importance of healthy spinal posture and activity which promotes body awareness and minimizes the day-to-day wear and tear on a person’s spine.

Stockton Chiropractic Clinic contributed to the awareness and promotion of musculoskeletal health by organising our own event at ARC in Stockton on in the evening of 16th October 2014 and holding an “open” clinic earlier in the afternoon.

Our clients had the opportunity to come along with friends to our clinic open day, tour through our modern facilities and ask for advice about their concerns on overall health and about chiropractic itself.

The evening progressed at ARC with an educational talk entitled “Health and Habits – Motivation is what get you started but habits keep you going”. The talk was accompanied by a practical workshop on house and office ergonomics. The audience had the chance to practice some of these concepts and the evening concluded with an open forum for questions and discussion.

Stockton Chiropractic Clinic would like to thank all who contributed to helping us raise awareness and make this event possible.
