Chiropractors diagnose and manage conditions due to dysfunction of the joints, nerves and muscles. Some examples of conditions a chiropractor may treat include shoulder and elbow pain arising from associated musculoskeletal conditions of the back and neck, low back pain, neck pain, migraine prevention, headaches arising from the neck, and hip and knee pain from osteoarthritis. Our approach is to provide support beyond your appointment at the clinic and we provide both advice about posture and lifestyle and rehabilitation exercises to help you achieve the improvement you are looking for.

Sports massage and clinical massage is helpful both as a pat of your chiropractic management plan, and as a stand-alone therapy.

Simon Hunter is our qualified on-site massage therapist who works in conjunction with the chiropractor managing your case should your chiropractor feel that extra massage therapy be helpful in managing your complaint.

Simon is also available for stand-alone massage therapy appointments for prople requiring clinical sports massage.

We care about getting your healthcare needs met and recognise that navigating the healthcare system can be daunting, difficult and sometimes frustrating. Following diagnosis, if chiropractic management is not appropriate for you, we seek to ensure you are referred to the healthcare professional that is best able to meet your needs.

This may involve referring you back to your GP, or another healthcare professional, empowered with the knowledge you need about your condition supported by a comprehensive referral letter detailing our findings and recommendations.

We are able to refer you for further imaging in the form of x-ray, diagnostic ultrasound or MRI through our partnership with various providers. North Tees Hospital provides us with private efficient digital x-ray facilities and MRI scanning. Scan-2-Fit in Billingham provide us with our diagnostic ultrasound referral route.

If we feel further imaging is necessary we will talk to you about this at your initial appointment, including summarising the proposed cost.

PRICES
Cost ranges from £39 for a simple x-ray up to £250 for an MRI of the lumbar spine. We will always advise if imaging is necessary.
