James Isaacson – ChiropractorHi! I’m James Isaacson. Originally from Easington, County Durham, I graduated from the largest Chiropractic school in the world, Life University in Marietta, Georgia, USA.
I came to chiropractic following a career as a professional rugby player for the Newcastle Falcons and Leeds Tykes (now Yorkshire Carnegie) with over 100 Premiership appearances. My interest in Chiropractic stemmed from a persistent pelvic injury that nearly caused my career to be cut short, but after the chance advice of a teammate sought out Chiropractic care. Injury free, I then went on to sign for a further six seasons until retiring in 2007.
I went to Durham School and Northumbria University, before attending Life University USA after my rugby career to attain the DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) degree.
I have a keen interest in the optimal function of the human body, specifically in high performance environments given my background, but I have patients from every and all walks of life under my care.
I predominantly trained in Gonstead, Diversified and Extremity techniques, and holds licenseship from the National Collage of Chiropractic Examiners (USA) and General Chiropractic Council (UK).
In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit at the gym, boxing, golf, reading and spending time with my lovely wife Kerry and two wonderful daughters Lily and Nicole.
